This error message occurs when you try to access your ebook in the Online Reader via an old access link.
Most commonly this is when you have saved the URL of the Online Reader as a favorite in your web browser for quick access to the ebook.
Unfortunately this will not work, as for security, every time you click the "Read Online" button in your account a new link is generated. These links expire.
Rather than save a link to the Online Reader as a favorite, please instead save a link to your account bookshelf: https://www.ebooks.com/account/bookshelf/
After signing in it's just two clicks to open the Online Reader. And it will prevent this error from occurring.
If this doesn't resolve the issue, or you are having issues accessing your account, or you receive some other error you can't resolve please complete our support form to submit a ticket to our customer support. Please be sure to mention the error message (403_EXP), and the title of the ebook that is having the issue, and attach a screenshot showing the error message. Please also confirm how you are accessing the Online Reader (via your account, or via a saved favorite).
