Now you have made a purchase with eBooks.com, or redeemed a voucher given to you, you will have your ebook listed under your "My account" page.
If your ebook has the "Read now" button listed beside it then this means your ebook can be read using our Online Reader. This option is available to pretty much any device that has a web browser installed. For more information on our Online Reader please see Using Online Reader.
If you wish to download your ebook, then you can download it in either PDF or EPUB formats (depending on which formats are available for your ebook).
Download to Ebook Reader
If you have an Android, iOS, BlackBerry 10, or Kindle Fire device, then you can download the book using our free Ebook Reader app. If you are not sure, you can check your device is supported. Then you can use these instructions to install the app on your device.
Download to Adobe Digital Editions
If you want to read on your Mac or PC, or transfer the ebook to a handheld ereader device (like Kobo, Nook or Sony reader) then you will need to use the free Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) software. As our books have Adobe DRM applied to them your device must state that it is compatible with Adobe DRM or Adobe Digital Editions. Macs and PCs are always compatible, but if you are not sure about your device you can check it is supported. Then you can use these instructions for installing ADE on your computer.
Transfer to an ereader device
To transfer to an ereader device like Kobo or Nook you will still need to first download to Adobe Digital Editions on your computer. Full instructions on how to do this are given in this help article.
If you are having technical difficulties at any point please use our troubleshooter, or search the Reading Devices section of Help Centre. And of course you can always contact our support team, who will be happy to help.
If you do not want to use our Ebook Reader app, or Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) there are alternatives available. However we strongly recommend against using them as we are able to provide much more in-depth support for software that we are familiar with.
