For modern devices that support Redium LCP, you should be able to simply sign in to eBooks.com in the web browser on your device, download the lcpl file and download it directly on the device. If your device is able to do so, simply follow the steps in the guide to downloading an ebook to Thorium reader (but on your e-reader, not on your computer).
If this is not possible for your device, then there are two alternate methods that involve transferring a file from your computer to your e-reader device. Unfortunately we don't yet have a list of which method works for which devices, so please try one and if it doesn't work please try the other.
Method 1: Transfer the .lcpl file
Using your computer, follow the steps in the guide to downloading an ebook to Thorium reader but once you have downloaded the lcpl file to your desktop (or somewhere easily accessible on your computer), do not open it.
Instead connect your e-reader to your computer and transfer the lcpl file on to the e-reader. Then open the lcpl file on your e-reader to download the ebook. You will then be prompted to enter your reading key / LCP Passphrase and this will enable you to read your ebook.
Method 2: Transfer the protected ebook file
Using your computer, follow the steps in the guide to downloading an ebook to Thorium reader and download the ebook to Thorium reader on your computer.
Then inside Thorium Reader, click on the menu icon (three vertical dots) underneath the book cover and select "Save as" and save the protected ebook to your desktop.
Then connect your e-reader to your computer and transfer the ebook file on your desktop to your e-reader. Now the ebook should be on your e-reader device. When you attempt to open it you will then be prompted to enter your reading key / LCP Passphrase and this will enable you to read your ebook.
If you are having technical difficulties at any point please contact our support team, who will be happy to help. Please state what e-reader device you have (make and model), and which ebook you are trying to transfer (if you have more than one), and in which format. And if you are receiving any error message please send a screenshot.
