This error will be encountered when attempting to download an ebook using any Chromium/Android WebView-based browser.

It is caused by a bug (which we have reported to Chromium) in the Android WebView download API that affects all WebView-based browsers that uses Android WebView (DuckDuckGo, Lightning, Privacy Browser, FOSS, Lynket, Via, etc.).

To resolve the issue please try a different browser that is not WebView based (i.e. Chrome or Firefox). The download should work.

Please confirm the device you are using and it's OS version. Also the browser you are using and it's version number. Please also send a screenshot of the error (to confirm it is the same one), and we can investigate further.
