Please note that ReMarkable devices are not compatible with ebooks that have DRM applied. If you have purchased an ebook that is DRM protected please see these other ways to read.

But once you have made your purchase, to transfer your ebook to your ReMarkable device please follow these steps:

Note: The maximum file size for transfer is 100 MB for USB transfer and web app (my.remarkable.com). To transfer files over 100 MB, use a companion app (mobile/desktop). 

To transfer using the Desktop app (PC):

• If you haven't already, sign in to eBooks.com and go to your My Bookshelf page
• Click on the ebook you want to download
• Download the DRM-free ebook file to somewhere accessible on your computer
• On your computer, open the reMarkable desktop app
• Click Import in the top menu and select your file. You can also just drag and drop the file directly into the app window

To transfer using the Mobile app (iOS):

• If you haven't already, sign in to eBooks.com and go to your My Bookshelf page
• Click on the ebook you want to download
• Download the DRM-free ebook file to your iOS device
• Open the ebook file on your iOS device
• Tap the Share icon
• Select Import with reMarkable from the list of apps

To transfer using the Mobile app (Android):

• If you haven't already, sign in to eBooks.com and go to your My Bookshelf page
• Click on the ebook you want to download
• Download the DRM-free ebook file to your Android device
• Open the app and tap Import
• Select the ebook file you want to transfer
• Tap Accept to allow file access

To transfer using the web app (my.remarkable.com):

• If you haven't already, sign in to eBooks.com and go to your My Bookshelf page
• Click on the ebook you want to download
• Download the DRM-free ebook file
• Bind your XTEINK device to the XTEINK app
• Connect the reader to Wi-Fi
• Open the Devices tab in the app and select your reader
• Tap Import and choose the compatible book file on your phone
• On your reader, open the upper-right menu and select Cloud Sync

To transfer using a USB cable:

• If you haven't already, sign in to eBooks.com and go to your My Bookshelf page
• Click on the ebook you want to download
• Download the DRM-free ebook file
• Connect your ReMarkable tablet to your computer using a USB cable
• On your ReMarkable tablet, go to Settings > General settings > Storage > USB web interface and toggle it on
• Open a web browser on your computer and type 10.11.99.1 into the address bar
• From this interface, you can import files by dragging and dropping them
