Occasionally you may need to uninstall the Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) on your computer.
The main reason for this would be to resolve an issue with ADE that cannot be resolved any other way. The steps are different for PC and Mac, so please select the instructions that are correct for your computer. Please make sure you exit ADE before you start the uninstall process.
For Windows:
1. Select the Start button and find Adobe Digital Editions in your list of programs.
2. Right-click on it and select Uninstall.
For Mac:
1. Open the Applications folder, which you'll find by opening a new window in the Finder, or clicking on the hard disk icon.
2. Drag the icon of the program you want to uninstall to the Trash.
3. Empty the Trash.
